Dr. Philipp Stallknecht,
LL.M. (Columbia)

Dr. Philipp Stallknecht studied law at the University of Münster, the China University of Political Science and Law (Beijing, China), and Columbia University (New York City, USA), where he also earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.). During his studies, he consistently focused on tax law. He then earned his doctorate in tax law from the University of Cologne. While practicing law, Dr. Philipp Stallknecht passed the tax consultant examination in 2024.

Dr. Philipp Stallknecht has extensive experience in providing tax planning advice and handling tax matters related to transactions and reorganizations. He also advises on succession planning. Before joining S&P Private Clients, Dr. Philipp Stallknecht worked at one of the leading German tax law firms for several years. He is also chairman of the supervisory board of his own family business (which holds real estate and equity shareholdings).

In addition to his professional work, Dr. Philipp Stallknecht is involved with various associations and organizations, including the Bund Junger Unternehmer (Verband Die Familienunternehmer e.V.), serves as chairman of the Columbia Alumni Club Düsseldorf/Cologne, and is active in other associations and clubs.
